Sea Scouts has been making a difference in the lives of men and women for more than a century; today there are more than 50 million living Scouting alumni. Whether you were a Scout, leader, volunteer, parent, or supporter, you are alumni of the nation’s foremost youth movement.

Now you can reconnect with the adventure of Scouting through our various Sea Scout alumni organizations and the BSA's Alumni Connection. Join the thousands of others who care about the youth of our nation, Sea Scouts, BSA, and the Boy Scouts of America!

Whether you're an active volunteer, or someone who just wants to keep up with what is happening in Scouting, here you should find what you need to stay connected to the Sea Scouts, BSA and the Boy Scouts of America.

Some of the ways you can reconnect are -

Be a Volunteer

Without thousands of volunteers, Sea Scouts programs would not be possible. If you are not yet a volunteer — but are interested in becoming one — there are several ways to get involved.

Leadership Roles

Sea Scout leaders serve in one of the BSA's most important roles. Our Skippers, Mates, and Committee Members directly mentor youth and make a difference in the lives of millions.

Please note: The BSA is committed to child safety and ensuring that every youth has a positive experience in Scouting. Before assigning an adult to a leadership position, a background check is required.

Administrative Roles

Share your expertise and special talents to serve your local BSA council.

Councils are always in need of active and engaged board members, unit committee members, merit badge counselors, and special event committee personnel.

As Needed

You can volunteer with the Sea Scouts, BSA even if you don't have a lot of time to commit. Help supervise a cruise, prepare lunch at an event, work at an event registration table, or do any number of small tasks help Sea Scouts in your community.
